According to band member Daniel Varas, the album ‘is like a roadtrip with your best friends—but in a car that flies.’ The voices and synthesizers were recorded in Astro’s studio in Santiago and the drums were recorded in Red Bull Studios in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

‘Chicos de la Luz’ is a follow up to Astro’s stellar self-titled debut album, which the New York Times called ‘A joy that needs no translation.’ The single ‘Panda’ was featured in the EA Sports video game ‘FIFA 13’. The debut earned them comparisons to Crystal Castles and Poolside.
